Weird Australian Laws Script

Weird Australian Laws

Number 1

In Western Australia, it’s against the law to own or have in your possession more than 110 pounds of potatoes. Yep, that’s a thing.

Number 2

In Melbourne, it is against the law to vacuum between 10 at night 7 in the morning during weekdays, and 10 at night and 9 in the morning on weekends.

Number 3

I'M BATMAN! (in Batman's voice). Well in North America is nice to dress up as Batman and have your friend go as Robin, but not down under. It is illegal to dress up as Robin and Batman.

Number 4

In the state of Victoria, only qualified electricians can change a light bulb. So I hope none of you Ozzies have any bright ideas! (from far away: oh that was a bad one).

Number 5

So, if you can’t find a bathroom while traveling, and you can prove that none are near then you may pee in public, BUT, only if it’s on the left rear of your vehicle. If it’s anywhere else then look out, that's a $500 fine, baby!

Number 6

In South Australia, it’s 100% against the law to disrupt a wedding and funerals (insert joke later)

Number 7

It’s illegal to offer a reward, no questions asked, for the return of stolen property. (add joke?)

Number 8, the one to hate.

Last one folks. This one is a little odd. So, children are not allowed to buy items like alcohol, cigarettes, and even condoms. Okay, that makes sense, all but the last one. But anywho, it gets weird. You can’t buy them, but you can use, smoke and drink them. It’s even legal to do all three at the same time, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
